Cards for the boys

It is so easy to get hooked on certain themes flowers spring summer and adult cards. So when the new annual catalogue launched in MAY 2023, I fell in love with the stargazing DSP from the star gazing suite collection but not keen on the stampset .

Then I spotted the fun on wheels and construction zone stamp sets i had a plan for my next class.

I used the patchwork pieces die and cut 3 pieces of dsp so i could mix and match the shapes . I added this to a mat layer of balmy blue cardstock and adhered to a starry sky card base .

I then stamped a skate board from the fun on wheels stampset in boho blue and attached to the card using dimensionals .

Using the cloud punch I added sentiments to the cards or different shapes by fussy cutting a piece of balmy blue ,stars were punched out using a retired punch and adhered to the card.

So at the same time we where having our quarterly team gathering and had a sketch to follow making 6 cards for swops. here is my entry using the fun on wheels bundle and the in colour DSP

Finally we used the construction zone stampset to design the card below fussy cutting the sand dunes and vehicles once coloured in .
